QUESCOM
400 IP/GSM GATEWAY
GSM gateways allow companies with traditional phone systems (PBX) to
slash the cost of calls to mobile phones. The QuesCom 400 IP/GSM can
make this kind of savings available to companies with an IP phone system
(IP-PBX).
The QuesCom 400
IP/GSM is connected to an IP-PBX either as an H.323 device and support
both gateway and gatekeeper connectivity modes or as a SIP proxy server.
All traffic from the IP PBX bound to a mobile phone is routed to the
QuesCom 400 IP/GSM and then converted into mobile-to-mobile connection.
In case of occupation
of all the SIM cards or if the QuesCom 400 IP/GSM is not reachable -
IP link failure - the IP-PBX can be configured to route calls to mobile
phones through the PSTN network.
The QuesCom 400
IP/GSM supports supplementary services delivered by IP-PBX such as:
call hold, call transfer and call forward.

Multiple
IP-GSM gateways can be connected to the same IP-PBX, providing
a modular and scalable architecture. |

SUBSCRIBER IDENTITY
MODULE (SIM) CARD BANKS
At the core of the QuesCom 400 GSM there are banks of mobile phone 'SIM'
(Subscriber Identity Module) chip cards. The QuesCom 400 GSM can manage
as many simultaneous calls as the number of SIM cards. Depending on
product versions the number of SIM cards varies from two to six per
unit. You can also stack multiple units to increase your call capacity.
