It is a desktop style telephone that will send all calls dialled over a GSM Network using a standard GSM mobile phone SIM card..

In countries where having a fixed line is either an expensive option or network infrastructure does not exist, the GSMPhone can provide fixed line functionality over the GSM network.

The GSMPhone can be self-installed by the end user, making the provisioning cycle simple and reducing costs for the network operator.
